Welcome to my new(er) blogsite.

In case you're wondering how you got here and who I am...
I'm a daughter, sister, wifey, Cali girl, friend, traveler, year round flip-flop wearing, gEEk, knottie turned nestie, marathoner, shopaholic, and hobby-obsessed lady that tries to squeeze in as much gocco printing, scrapbooking/stationary making, photography, personal training, and pilates as possible into my 24 hour day.

Note the twitter updates at the bottom left...and then you'll understand why "Random Thoughts from the Doggpound" was an appropriate first title for the blog. Hmmm, I may have to go back to that. Oh, and some day I may port my content over to my domain and stop squatting on Jeremy's, but for now it's still funny to hear the questions on how that happened.

Our host goofed up on the format for my domain and made it Windows junk instead of Linux. I didn't have the patience for the 6-8 hours it would take to update it. So I'm squatting over here.

Eyeliner follow-up

After our Georgetown makeup-binge outing a few weekends ago, I figured I’d follow up.  The Tarte eyeliner is a good back-up for your purse’s makeup bag since it’s super thin and doesn’t require sharpening.  The CARGO eyelighter is pimp, it brightens your eye area and it has a cool little inner eye corner (a little more shine) and outer eye corner (matte) option.  I recommend that in the original gold color (3 color choices).

My favorite eye liner is still the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner I discovered during my wedding makeup research-absolute fav!  But when I’m not in the mood to deal with a brush or when my hands are too shakey from a green tea latte, I opt for the Chanel standard pencil and it glides on super smooth.  So the Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Pencil in Ambre and Noir are my favorite basic staple pencils and the Bobbi Brown in Graphite Shimmer and Chocolate shimmer are my absolute favorite gel options.
