Things have been nutso around here but I just read about this and it might be a cool way to stay in touch with the familia, hmmm.

tab: lol. here’s what used to happen when we used to go to adams morgan
tab and jdogg stand in line for pizza
someone says something to you, you’re about to fight, then i have to go and yell at them
jdogg reminds tab of how violence is stupid
alan goes to front of line, accidentally buys 10 jumbo slices
then vomits in the street
sound familiar?
oh, and the last part: we all have to walk off quickly so tab doesn’t get shot by said person he was trying to start a fight with. lol

Tab sent this to me, I’m impressed.  Never been, not sure about the crowd…sounds like a good Friday night plan to me.

At the door – Tickets are $12. If you plan to buy tickets at the door, arrive early in the evening as tickets are limited and tend to sell out. VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted at the door. After Hours tickets are not refundable or exchangeable.

Thanks to little C, our mystery is solved.  Little Summy sum will do anything (it seems) to maintain her svelte figure.  She must’ve heard about the Japanese banana diet craze and hopped on the bandwagon in her young puppy years.  What a diva she is.

If you haven’t had a chance to read Bitter is the New Black, and her 2 follow-up novels…what is wrong with you?!?  All kidding aside, these books made me laugh like no other and I love that Jen tells it like it is.  She’s what I pretend I could be and you’ll love reading about her adventures in real life.

Still recovering but had to share a keeper

I’m in recovery mode from the 5 flights we took over the long weekend.  Someone had sick germs and unfortunately I’m too rundown to fight off getting sick now.

Onto the good stuff, my sister gave me a card this weekend with an awesome graphic of a woman giving a presentation to her male colleagues.  (I’ll try to take a shot of it later)  The greatest quote complements the picture: “As a woman, I find it very embarrassing to be in a meeting and realize I’m the only one in the room with balls. ” -Rita Mae Brown

It now sits on display in my (male-dominated) office :)
